Morning! Last week I blogged about the mini-gallery wall that I hung around my living room TV. Here it is with just the frames:
Up today is the same wall but with pictures. Here it is right up front!
The pictures were taken by the uber-talented Doug Burns of Candid Moments Photography, who photographed Jamie's wedding. I've sent some business Doug's way and built up a credit with him, so last August, I decided to cash in and have him take pictures of the kids. He did an amazing job. I debated whether to use color pictures or black and white. In the end, I just prefer black and white on the wall. Here are close-ups of the pictures. Aren't they gorgeous? He perfectly captured our personalities.
The gallery wall, though, is not complete. I think I need to add four more frames to make the wall a bit more full and finished. You can see what I am thinking in this photoshopped picture:
The frames are the wood gallery frames from Pottery Barn and I need two more 8x10s, a 5x7 and a 4x6. That's basically a $75 proposition (with free shipping!) right now. The frames always seem to be 20% off, which is good. I am holding out for a discount code or a bigger percentage off. In the meantime, though, this wall is looking good.
Have a good day!See you swoon,
