The next step will be the wall color and a few coats of fresh white paint on the woodwork, hopefully the rest will fall into place after seeing the color pallet start to come together but for now, another small upgrade for you to enjoy.
I had planned on purchasing the Pottery Barn sconces you see below but just happened to be in Lowes (my new favorite store) and stumbled upon the set you will see below in the after shot which have a similar feel for a fraction of the price, uh, yes please! I think the issue was the frosted glass just felt very closed off, funny how picky you can be over these small little details.

This is the new sconce in my living room. I am contemplating painting the silver to match the Pottery Barn color above, this is a minor detail but will flow much better with some of the other plans I have (Lowes sconces $5.99 each and the design on the glass makes a really pretty pattern on the walls at night, BONUS!):
