Swoon Worthy Style Icon: Marilyn Monroe

I seem to be (happily) stuck in the 50s and 60s with my style icons: so far, I've featured Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly and Jackie Kennedy Onassis.  A trip to the 50s and 60s style would not be complete without mention of the very first "glamour girl" -- Marilyn Monroe.  Marilyn set the standard for breathless beauty -- she was almost unattainably chic.  Her pictures are as gorgeous today as they were back then, and each of her looks would be perfectly at home in today's world: whether on screen or on the red carpet.  I hope you enjoy a few of my favorite Marilyn looks.
